Eddie Yarbrough Named To 2015 Lombardi Award Watch List
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming senior defensive end Eddie Yarbrough is among the college players on the 2015 Rotary Lombardi Award watch list.
It is the second consecutive season that Yarbrough has been selected to the award watch list.
Yarbrough was named a First Team All-Mountain West selection both as a sophomore in 2013 and as a junior in 2014.
The Aurora, Colorado, native has made 194 tackles and 28.5 tackles for loss during his college career. He will enter the 2015 season ranked No. 15 among active FBS players in tackles for loss and No. 6 among active FBS defensive linemen.
Eligibility for the Rotary Lombardi Award is limited to down linemen on offense or defense, or linebackers who set up no farther than 5 yards deep from the line of scrimmage.
