Body Found In Boulder Creek Last Week Was Tuber Missing Since May
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The coroner has identified the body pulled from Boulder Creek last week as a man who went missing while tubing late at night in May.
Divers removed 35-year-old Christopher Danko's remains last week near Valmont Road and 61st Street.
Danko was apparently partying with a friend when he decided to go tubing. The friend said he followed Danko on a skateboard when the tuber got into trouble when he went under a bridge and his friend lost sight of him.
A resident spotted a body in the creek on July 1 and called authorities.
