2 Families Displaced After Duplex Fire

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A duplex fire in Brighton on Monday night that displaced two families has been blamed on an incorrectly hooked up grill.

One person was taken to the hospital but was not seriously hurt.

In addition to the duplex, several vehicles were also destroyed in the fire.

Officials with Brighton said the duplex is not structurally safe for the families to live there. The Red Cross is providing food, clothing and lodging for the seven people who cannot return home.
