SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP/CBS4) – Olympic champion Missy Franklin, in her first long course event of the season, finished third in the 200 backstroke at the Arena Pro Series on Sunday night.

The 200 backstroke is an event in which Franklin holds the world record.

She also placed sixth in the 100 freestyle.

Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu won the women’s 200 individual medley and the 200 backstroke, her fourth and fifth victories of the weekend.

Sunday was the final day of the Arena Pro Series.
