2 Accused Of Beating Woman To Death At Motel Formally Charged
ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Two people arrested in connection with the murder of a woman at a motel have been formally charged with first-degree murder.
According to the Adams County Sheriff's Office, Abigail Cozad, 31, of Thornton was beat to death at the Primrose Motel located at 5450 Federal Boulevard on June 1.
Police arrested Emiliano Urioste and Teresa Dean in connection with Cozad's murder. They say Cozad had gone to the motel with the pair.
Urioste is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 4 for a preliminary hearing. Dean's preliminary hearing is set Sept. 18.
