Fort Carson Soldier From Georgia Dies In Kuwait

FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) - A soldier from Colorado's Fort Carson has died in Kuwait in a non-combat related incident.

The Defense Department says 19-year-old Pfc. Monterrious T. Daniel of Griffin, Georgia died Friday in Camp Buehring. He was assigned to the 43rd Sustainment Brigade in the 4th Infantry Division.

The Gazette reports that he arrived at Fort Carson in October and deployed to Kuwait on Feb. 16.
