Investigators don't know yet why the accident happened but they say the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 6 and ran off the right side of the road and hit a sign. It then went down the embankment and landed in the creek on its roof. It was carried 350 feet by the water.

The victim's name hasn't been released but the State Patrol said he was a 61-year-old man.
