Police Search For Driver In Deadly Hit-And-Run

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for the driver of a black pickup truck who is responsible for striking and killing a pedestrian.

Police said on May 3, Armando Uribe and his friends were involved in a fight with several men in the parking lot of Stone Nightclub at 4842 Morrison Road.

A few minutes later, Uribe was walking in the 3900 block of W.Kentucky Avenue and was intentionally struck by the driver of a black pickup truck. Uribe died as a result of those injuries.

Witnesses describe the truck as a four-door or extended cab black pickup truck with "Z71" printed on the rear side panel and tinted windows.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or recognizes the suspect vehicle  is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
