Kurios Isn't Your Standard Cirque du Soleil Show

DENVER (CBS4)- Kurios on the surface seems to be a standard Cirque du Soleil show, but there is nothing standard about Cirque du Soleil.

Every time they raise the curtain it's on a new world of imagination, music, color and magic. Kurios is no different simply by being the most different of all.

Kurios definitely has some traditional Cirque elements, the ethereal musical interludes and the brash European comedy.

But there are new acts that will twist your mind into new and interesting shapes. For instance a standard balacing routine with chairs becomes exceptional with a a simple and seemingly impossible change of perspective.

A standard safety net, stretched to its limits, becomes a launch pad for a troupe of acrobats who take the audience to new and dizzying heights.

Kurios is at the Pepsi Center from June 11- July 26.
