Denver Police Investigate 2 New Shootings
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have two more shootings to investigate amid a plague of recent gang shootings.
One of the crimes happened at East 33rd Avenue and Olive Street at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. The other took place early Friday morning at Colfax Avenue and Monaco Parkway.
One person was injured at each location, and police believe the crime on Olive could be gang related.
The ongoing shootings and gang violence have prompted Denver city leaders to push harder to fight the problem.
