Southwest Plane Diverted To DIA For Pressurization Issue

DENVER (CBS4)- A Southwest plane traveling from Las Vegas to Milwaukee was diverted to Denver International Airport on Friday night and all passengers were taken off the plane.

Flight 100 was diverted to DIA when the pilot reported a pressurization issue. There were six crew members and 175 passengers on board when it landed about 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Denver Fire Department and Denver Health paramedics responded to the plane at gate C27 per protocol.

All passengers were evaluated. One passenger will be transported to the hospital not because of an issue with the flight but because of an apparent fall.

The Boeing 737 aircraft was taken out of service and inspected.

Southwest Airlines called in another aircraft which is scheduled to land in Milwaukee about two hours late.
