DENVER (CBS4) – The KBCO Studio C tradition is back, and this year the radio station is releasing a full length vinyl LP from the live performance studio.

The record will be released on Saturday, which is Record Store Day. It features nine songs from Colorado musicians, including the String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, High Country, the Lumineers, Yonder Mountain String Band and the Motet.

“People are really passionate about vinyl records right now,” KBCO’s Bret Saunders said. “There’s a warmth to vinyl that’s never been replicated in the digital era.”
