The Rooftop At Coors Field Is The Place To Party This Season

DENVER (CBS4)- The Rooftop at Coors Field is entering its second season but now there are more events for fans to celebrate this season.

"This year we have two new things that are happening; Purple Monday giveaways specifically for The Rooftop, that could be headphones, it could be a cool plastic mug, things of this sort," said Colorado Rockies Rooftop Marketing spokeswoman Lisa Berzins.

"Also we're going to be having the Rooftop Live presented by the HardRock Café, so that's nine pregame entertainment bands that are going to be up here on The Rooftop," said Berzins.

The great thing about The Rooftop is that it's open to anyone who has a ticket to the Rockies game, regardless of where they're sitting.

"All you need to do is get into the stadium. You can have a Rockpile ticket, that's just $4 or you can sit behind home plate and still enjoy The Rooftop. However, we do have Rooftop specific tickets, those start at $14 but you get $6 back in food and beverage credit. So essentially I'm buying your first beer," said Berzins.
