Officer Adsit Given First Pitch Honors At Rockies Home Opener
DENVER (CBS4) - Friday will be a big day ahead for injured Denver police officer John Adsit.
Adsit will be on the mound with his family, and his son will throw out the first pitch at the Colorado Rockies home opener. Adsit is still recovering after being hit by a car while on his bike as he accompanied students back to East High School after a protest.
The Rockies will play the Chicago Cubs. First pitch is at 2:10 p.m.
