Westminster Man Accused Of Murdering Pueblo Teen Avoids Entering A Plea
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man charged with killing a 19-year-old woman once again avoided entering a plea.
Christopher Waide, 23, is charged with first-degree murder even though the body of Lea Porter has never been found. A judge on Monday allowed Waide to avoid entering a plea and he will be back in court on April 30.
Porter was visiting Waide at his apartment in Westminster when she disappeared last year. Her family says she rejected his romantic advances.
Waide originally denied any involvement in Porter's death but apparently admitted to killing her a short time later.
