Bomb Squad Responds To Kidnapping Investigation
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- The Colorado Springs Police bomb squad responded to a kidnapping investigation after a suspicious device was found inside the suspect's vehicle.
Police believe the suspect, Michael Young, kidnapped his girlfriend at gunpoint on Tuesday night. She was able to escape without injury.
After investigators tracked down Young, officers searched his car where police discovered a live grenade.
The bomb squad was called to the scene and safely removed the device. No one was hurt.
