Police ID Victims Of Gang-Related Shooting Near Lowry Neighborhood

DENVER (CBS4) - A $2,000 reward is now being offered for information in a shooting that left two men dead at an apartment near the Lowry neighborhood.

Deanthony Clyde Williams, 30, and Tyrael Lamar Adams, 28, died after being shot outside the Lex on Lowry Apartments.

It's believed the shooting was gang-related, as was another deadly shooting on Pontiac Street. That prompted Mayor Michael Hancock to deliver a message about violence.

"If you disrupt peace in our city and you perpetrate violence like this in our city, we will find you and we will hold you accountable," Hancock said.

Former and allegedly current gang members were also at a community forum Monday evening. Police Chief Robert White says eight of the 12 homicides in Denver this year have been gang-related.
