Coors Field Will Host Zac Brown Band For First Major Concert

DENVER (CBS) - Coors Field will have its first ever major concert Friday, July 3 when Zac Brown Band hits the road for its 2015 tour.

The band releases its new album "JEKYLL + HYDE" on April 28, then kicks off its North American stadium tour in Nashville.

It will play several baseball parks including Wrigley Field, Fenway Park and the appearance at Coors Field.

Concert promoter Chuck Morris, president and CEO of AEG Live Rocky Mountains promised an historic night in a news release announcing the concert.

"The meteoric rise of Zac Brown Band has been one of the great stories in the history of our business," said Morris in that release.

"Combine that with the first major concert at Coors Field and we will have a night that no one will ever forget."

Rockies Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer Greg Feasel said the team is excited to host the concert in that same release.

"This is a great opportunity to showcase our beautiful facility as a concert facility," Feasel said. "This is a very exciting first for Coors Field and the Rockies organization."

Tickets will cost between $29.50 and $105 plus service fees. The tickets for Zac Brown Band at Coors Field go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m.
