Colorado State Appoints New Dean Of Business College

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - The chairwoman of the Arizona State University marketing department has been appointed dean of the Colorado State University College of Business.

Colorado State announced Beth Walker's hiring Monday.

Walker will replace Ajay Menon, who is returning to teaching after a dozen years as dean.

Walker has an undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and received her master's degree and Ph.D. from Penn State.

She joined the Arizona State faculty in 1988 and has served as chair of the marketing department since 2011.

She also served as faculty director of the Evening MBA Program and associate dean for MBA Programs at Arizona State.
