COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – El Paso County deputies say a 24-year-old man went to great lengths to steal mail.

Deputies arrested Jesse Williams after finding a stolen car at a restaurant in Colorado Springs. Inside they found a postal worker uniform and evidence of stolen mail.

Deputies put Williams under surveillance and later arrested him.

Two people are also in custody in Durango — also accused of stealing mail. A deputy arrested Heather Cawthon, 30, and Charles Merrill, 35, when they were stopped in front of mailboxes.

In both cases the suspects are also accused of identity theft.
