Boulder Continues To Shatter All-Time February Snow Record
DENVER (CBS4) - With three days to go before the end of the month and a forecast filled with snow, February 2015 will be remembered for years to come by residents of Boulder.
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, another 4.3 inches of snow was measured at the city's official weather station, bringing the month-to-date snowfall to 42.7 inches.
The previous all-time snowfall record in Boulder was 32.1 inches set in 2012.
The liquid precipitation for the month has been 3.04 inches which is also a new record.
Boulder is under a Winter Storm Warning until 6 a.m. Thursday for the potential to see a foot of snow from the current storm.

With the snowy forecast ahead, Denver has the potential to join Boulder in setting an all-time February snowfall record.
Prior to Wednesday's snowstorm, Denver International Airport had measured 17.2 inches of snow, which is just 4.9 inches shy of the all-time February record.
A new snow accumulation of five inches between now and the end of the month will break the old record of 22.1 inches set in 1912.
