Full Closure Of I-25 To Take Place Overnight Between Colorado & Evans

DENVER (CBS4) - Drivers traveling through Denver overnight should be aware of a full closure of Interstate 25 overnight.

The closure between Colorado and Evans is taking place so crews can continue work on the pedestrian and bicycle bridge there.

The whole project is expected to wrap up by summer.

The closure will start at 10 p.m. and is expected to be picked up by 5:30 a.m. Friday.

It's best to avoid the area altogether, but Colorado to Evans should be a good alternate, according to CBS4 Traffic Specialist Joel Hillan.
