Pastor Was "Like A Father" To Girl He Abused

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Gerald Clark, a Westminster pastor, will be sentenced on Friday for his sexual abuse crimes against multiple victims.

One of the victims told police that he was like a father figure to her. But that trust ended when she said he began sexually abusing her. She told police it happened 30 - 50 times, between 2009 and 2012, when she was 13 - 16 years old.

Clark was associated with Victory Church and left to start his own church, Jericho Ministries International, of which he was the pastor and ran out of his home.

The victim told police she decided to come forward with her story because she feared there may be others. And prosecutors said there were: three children and two women.

Clark's sentencing is set for 1 p.m. on Friday.
