DENVER (CBS4) – CenturyLink is now offering faster broadband speeds in 16 neighborhoods around the Denver metro area, the company announced on Wednesday.

The faster speeds are at approximately 1 gigabit per second. More neighborhoods will get the upgrades later in the year.

The following neighborhoods received the upgrade:

Bonnie Brae
Congress Park
Corey Merrill
Park Hill
Platt Park
Sections of Stapleton
Washington Park West and East
University Park
Villa Park
