Semi Fire Forces I-76 To Close Near Commerce City
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – A tractor-trailer fire forced the closure of Interstate 76 near Commerce City Sunday afternoon.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the fire forced authorities to close the eastbound lanes of I-76 at U.S. Highway 85 and the westbound lanes at Colorado State Highway 2.
No other details have been released.
The Colorado State Patrol said the highway would be closed for several hours for extensive cleanup.
