Westminster Police Search For Suspect After Man Shot At Party

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Westminster are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the leg at a party early Wednesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 7700 block of Zenobia Court at approximately 1:20 a.m.

"An adult male was shot in the leg. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition," police said in a statement.

Police are still searching for the shooter. They haven't provided a description.

"At this point it is believed that the victim and the shooter were acquaintances and there is no reason to believe the public is at risk," police said.
