Police Search For Suspect After Shooting In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Westminster are investigation a shooting that left a person wounded Monday evening.

According to police, the shooting occurred in the 10900 block of Grey Street. Shortly after that officers were involved in a short pursuit of a suspect vehicle.

"The vehicle came to a stop and officers saw two people exit the vehicle. From witnesses on scene, a third person also exited the vehicle," police said in a statement.

Police were able to take the two people into custody, but are still searching for the possible third person with the help of police in Broomfield. A reverse 911 call was activated within a quarter mile of the 1STBANK Center of a possible armed and dangerous subject.

Police were interviewing witnesses who said the possible third suspect is a male in his late teens or early 20s.

The person who was shot was transported to a local hospital. His condition hasn't been released.
