Adams County Deputy Wounded In Arrest Attempt
DENVER (CBS4) - An Adams County deputy was wounded on Friday afternoon while trying to arrest a man wanted in connection with this week's triple murder.
The deputy was hurt in the area of 40th Avenue and Clay Street in northwest Denver just before 4 p.m. He was rushed to Denver Health with non-life threatening injuries and is in fair condition. He hasn't been identified.
Furmen Lee Leyba, 31, who is wanted in the three murders, was arrested shortly after the shooting. A woman was also arrested.
The bodies of three men were found early Wednesday morning in a home near Broadway and Cragmore, just northeast of the Interstate 25 and Boulder turnpike interchange. Deputies arrived after receiving a call about a disturbance.

Police arrested one man, Gabriel Flores, in connection with the slayings. He appeared in court in Brighton on Friday, charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
After the deputy was wounded, Denver police blocked several intersections to keep traffic from driving through the scene.
"We know it's frustrating," Denver police spokesman Cmdr. Matt Murray said. "We know it's frightening, but on the other hand it was quickly resolved. We got the person in custody."
