Parker Police Investigate 'Sexting' Case At Legend High School

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Parker are asking parents to talk to their children after they were notified about a sexting case involving Legend High School students.

According to police, the department was notified about a sexting cast last Tuesday at Legend High and were able to locate the person who sent the sexually explicit images. They are now concerned that the images were shared with many students and want parents to talk to their children.

The case is also being investigated by an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detective.

"If your child feels that he or she was the subject in an explicit photo in this case and has not spoken to the police, please contact the Parker Police Department," police said in a statement. "Review the content of the student's devices. Please look in the photos, camera rolls, and any third party apps such as Snapchat, Instagram, or cloud storage which may have been utilized for image and video storage."
