GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A driver was found dead on Monday inside a car that drove into Clear Creek near the Coors plant.

The Colorado State Patrol said no other passengers were found in the car discovered off Highway 58. The victim’s name and gender weren’t released.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., the car was found in the creek in about a foot and a half of water, the state patrol said.

The cause of death hasn’t been released.

It’s possible the crash occurred days ago, the state patrol said.
