DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver Broncos will pass on Richie Incognito, a free agent offensive lineman who also carries a lot of baggage.
On Monday, the Broncos worked out Incognito, who was suspended by the Miami Dolphins a year ago for a situation in which he allegedly regularly harassed teammate Jonathan Martin. After the suspension was lifted, Incognito was not re-signed by the Dolphins.
The incident drew headlines across the country for weeks.
Martin left Miami and now plays for the San Francisco 49ers. Incognito has not played professionally since then.
Not sure where I fall on Incognito. But if there's a locker room that can handle his abrasiveness, it's the Broncos locker room.— Vic Lombardi (@VicLombardi) November 11, 2014
The Broncos have made several changes to their offensive line so far this season and in some games their rushing offense has suffered.
