DENVER (CBS4) – Whole Foods is coming to downtown Denver.

The Texas-based grocery store chain announced this week they will be opening a flagship store in the Union Station neighborhood.

The 56,000 square foot store, which will be called Whole Foods Market Union Station, is scheduled to open in 2017.

It will be located in a new development at 17th Street and Wewatta Street at the base of a 640-unit apartment complex.
