DENVER (AP) – Snoop Dogg has canceled a “Yes We Cannabis” concert planned to back an independent candidate for Colorado governor.

Dunafon is mayor of Glendale just outside Denver. He is trying to appeal to marijuana activists with a campaign focused on loosening remaining penalties for marijuana-related offenses. Dunafon says the entire festival has been canceled.
Snoop Dogg contributed a lyric to Dunafon’s online campaign video, “The Trap.” The video criticized Colorado’s approach to legal pot. The video also includes a performance by Wyclef Jean.
