EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A hiker found a massive marijuana grow operation in Eagle County along Cottonwood Pass Road last Wednesday.

“Surveillance of the area was conducted but no suspects were located,” the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Law enforcement confiscated and destroyed all of the marijuana plants.”READ MORE: Colorado Snow Totals: Boulder County Gets More Than A Foot
The investigation will remain active.
