Police Search For Man Assaulting Women In Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Fort Collins have issued a warning after they've received reports about a man making unwanted advances and assaulting women in the last several weeks.

According to police, the suspect has physically assaulted three women in five separate incidents.

"In each case the woman was outside alone and none of the women received serious injuries," police said in a statement.

The incidents have occurred near Shields Street and Taft Hill Road, and West Prospect and West Drake Roads in the early to late evening hours.

In each case the victims have described the man as a Hispanic male, 30 to 35 years old and approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8. He has a medium to slightly heavy build with short to shaved hair.

"Citizens are reminded to always use caution, be in groups, carry a cell-phone and be aware of one's surroundings," police said.
