DENVER (CBS4) – A woman was attacked in a possible hate crime east of downtown earlier this month.

Police said the woman was walking to her car near 37th Avenue and Marion Street on Sept. 15 at approximately 8:30 p.m. when two men and a woman made comments about her sexual orientation. They then attacked her and threw her to the ground.

The three suspects haven’t been identified.

Police said the victim described one as a 6-foot white man with a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The woman was blond with a black tank top and skinny-style jeans. The third suspect, a male, was not described.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
