2 Charged With Accessory In Slayings Get 6 Years
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — A man and woman who pleaded guilty to an accessory charge in a double slaying in Weld County have each been sentenced to six years in prison.
The Weld County District Attorney's Office says 24-year-old Justin O'Donnell and his mother, 42-year-old Rosann O'Donnell, were sentenced Tuesday for their roles in the killings.
Investigators say Cimmeron Johns killed his estranged wife, 36-year-old Alisha Johns, and her mother, 56-year-old Sheri Pachello, on Feb. 6.
The O'Donnells were accused of helping Cimmeron Johns after the murders by destroying evidence, concealing a vehicle belonging to one of the victims, evading police and harboring Johns in their apartment.
Johns killed himself the day after the murders.
