CU Grad Steve Swanson Set To Return From Space

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - NASA astronaut and University of Colorado alum Steve Swanson is preparing to return to Earth.

Swanson has been living on the International Space Station for the last six months. He's slated to drift back to Earth in a Russian space capsule on Wednesday and land in Kazakhstan.

He considers Steamboat Springs home.

It will take Swanson 3 1/2 hours to fall to Earth.
