DENVER (CBS4) – A job fair will be held this weekend to fill 100 openings at Vestas wind energy plants in Windsor and Brighton.

The job fair will be held by Manpower on Saturday at 1500 B East Crown Prince Boulevard in Brighton from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“These positions are a portion of the 800 new hires Vestas plans to make by year end. Permanent and temp-to-hire positions are available at Vestas plants in Windsor and Brighton,” Manpower said in a statement.

Pay starts at $16 per hour with benefits, “which can include health care, retirement plans with a company match, and paid time off.”

There are available positions in manufacturing, production, assembly and shipping.

“This event is a chance for job seekers to interview for jobs with competitive pay and benefits in a modern, high-tech Vestas manufacturing facility,” said Frank Armendariz, regional vice president for Manpower. “Candidates have the potential to walk away with a job offer that day from Vestas, one of the state’s premiere employers.”
