LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4)- South Metro Firefighters are the latest group of first responders around the Denver metro area to take the ice bucket challenge.
Departments across Colorado are challenging each other to bear the cold to raise money for the officer memorial.
Firefighters and the fire chief were among those who got soaked as water dropped from a ladder truck on Friday.
South Metro has challenged the Denver and West Metro Fire Departments.
