Mom Who Padlocked Son In Trailer Flees, Violates Parole
ERIE, Colo. (CBS) - A mom who locked her son in a filthy, rat-infested trailer for more than three years has violated her parole and disappeared.
Amanda Joliff, 39, served three years and was on two years of probation when she disappeared, landing her on Weld County's Most Wanted list. There is a reward for information about her whereabouts.
Joliff and her boyfriend, Richard Smith, were arrested in 2011 when a neighbor discovered the boy, then 14, hiding under a porch on Sept. 27.
