I-25 Closure In Downtown Denver Bound To Cause Headaches
DENVER (CBS4) - It could be a traffic mess for the ages this weekend when the Colorado Department of Transportation shuts down a section of Interstate 25 in downtown Denver.
The highway will close Friday and Saturday nights and all day Sunday between Santa Fe Drive and 6th Avenue. I-25 is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday morning.
The closure is to facilitate work on the gap lane project where crews are adding a fourth lane in the northbound lanes.
Detours will be in place.
