Expect To Pay More To Park At DIA

DENVER (CBS4)- Parking rates will be going up in some lots at Denver International Airport.

Starting next month, it will cost drivers more to park in some lots.

The rates at Pikes Peak and Mount Elbert satellite lots will not change and continue to cost $8 a day.

Short-term parking also stays the same at $4 hourly.

All the other lots will increase by $1.

The East and West Economy Lots will cost $13 a day. The East and West Garage will cost $24 a day.

The East and West Valet is $33 a day.

The new rates will go into effect on Aug. 15.

Daily parking rates at DIA were last increased in January 2013.
