3 Charged After Hash Oil Explosion In Denver
DENVER (AP) - Denver prosecutors have charged three people suspected of causing an explosion at a warehouse while trying to extract hash oil from marijuana.
The Denver District Attorney's Office said Thursday that each of the three suspects face a felony charge of processing or manufacturing marijuana concentrate.
Hash oil is a high potency extract of marijuana. The process is dangerous and has caused several similar explosions in Colorado and around the country.
The three people charged are Matthew Ackerman, and Paul Mannaioni, both 24, and 20-year-old Danielle Cordova. Authorities say the explosion happened April 23.
They are expected in court later in July to be advised of the charges.
