Nationwide Manhunt On For Pueblo County Shooting Suspect

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – A $500,000 nationwide warrant has been issued for man accused of attempted murder in Pueblo County.

According to Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, Cesar Arias, 28, is wanted for the attempted murder of 20-year-old Samuel Arguello.

Deputies responded to a mobile home community located in the 5000 block of Red Creek Springs Road on Thursday just after 5 a.m. and found Arguello lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

Arias was identified as at least one suspect in the shooting. He's described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-10, 165 pounds with long dark hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe he may be driving a white 1990s model Chevy Blazer or a Green Dodge Durango.

Arias is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who spots Arias is asked to call 911 immediately.

Detectives are working to identify two others in connection with the shooting.
