Drinks On Me: Gratafy App Looks To Change Gift-Giving In Denver Bars, Restaurants

DENVER (CBS4) - A Seattle-based company is hoping its app will change how patrons at bars and restaurants across the city change how they buy each other drinks and food.

Gratafy allows its users to buy gifts -- say, a bottle of wine, a dessert, a cocktail -- for a friend, with tax and tip included. The recipient is notified via smartphone or email and claims the gift at the restaurant.

Twenty-five bars and restaurants across the city are included in the app's Denver launch. Denver is the sixth city available on Gratafy.
