Stranger Tries To Kiss Woman Inside Safeway In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A stranger tried to kiss a woman inside a grocery store in Boulder, and now police say the man could possibly face a sexual assault charge.

The victim says she was at the Safeway on 28th Street on June 4 when the man approached her and asked "What would you do if I kissed you right now?"

He tried to grab the back of her neck but she pushed him off and he escaped.

The woman says the man had a small camera in his hand and was pointing it at her.

The man was described as being a white male with a thin, athletic build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jeremy Frenzen at 303-441-1890. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
