Aurora Police Search For 3 Suspects In Deadly Shooting

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that left a teenager dead.

Police rushed to reports of a fight at a Taco Bell restaurant located at 3554 S. Tower Road around midnight. When officer arrived they found a 19-year-old male lying in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds.

The teen was rushed to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police said their initial investigation revealed the victim was involved in an altercation in the parking lot. At some point during the altercation shots were fired which struck the victim.

Three male suspects were seen running away from the parking lot.

The suspects are described as three white males in their late teens to early 20s. Two of them were seen wearing dark-colored T-shirts and one was possibly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the front. They were all wearing light-colored shorts.

Detectives interviewed witnesses and collected evidence from the Taco Bell parking lot. They would like to talk to anyone who might have witnessed the crime.
