Travel Schedule For 2016 RNC Finalist Cities Released

DENVER (CBS4)- The travel schedule for the RNC's Site Selection Delegation for the 2016's convention site visits has been set. Denver is among the top four cities vying to host the Republicans in two years.

A delegation comprised of the RNC's Site Selection Committee, RNC staff and advisors, and RNC senior leadership will travel between Monday June 2 and Friday June 13, visiting Cleveland, Kansas City, Denver, and Dallas.

The RNC will look at venues, hospitality, security and transportation options and will conduct meetings with each city to discuss aspects of their bids.

Travel dates are:

Cleveland:           Monday June 2 – Wednesday June 4

Kansas City:        Wednesday June 4 – Friday June 6

Denver:                Monday June 9 – Wednesday June 11

Dallas:                   Wednesday June 11 – Friday June 13
