Man Hospitalized After Douglas County Hike
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A man remains hospitalized after suffering injuries while hiking in Douglas County on Monday.
Search and rescue workers airlifted the man to Swedish Medical Center after two hikers found him unconscious along a remote trail near Devil's Head Fire Lookout and called authorities at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The man was treated on the scene before a helicopter transported him to Swedish in Denver three hours later.
His name hasn't been released, but authorities said he's in his 60s.
